The Advocates for Human Rights' annual Human Rights Awards Dinner is the largest human rights gathering in the Midwest. We are looking forward to celebrating multiple human rights advocates, partners, and volunteers at an amazing evening on June 15, 2020.

We are thrilled to present Lee Gelernt, the Deputy Director of the ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project, with the Don & Arvonne Fraser Human Rights Award. He has litigated to overturn the travel ban, stop mass deportations of refugees, and reunite families separated at the border. His work saves lives, and we are so proud to recognize him with this award. To learn more about Lee Gelernt, click here.

We are proud to present our partners at the Moscow Community Center with a special recognition award. The Moscow Community Center is a resource for LGBT individuals that unites activists, offers, solutions, and helps achieve the goals of the Moscow area LGBT community. They have mobilized to help LGBT people fleeing persecution in Chechnya, connecting the refugees with safe houses and community support.

Be sure to arrive between 5:00 and 6:00 to enjoy our unique silent auction. You won't want to miss the international treasures that our staff and volunteers have brought home as they work to protect human rights around the world.

Tickets are available individually or in tables of 10. Guests may also choose to sponsor the attendance of one of The Advocates' clients by adding $100 to the ticket price. If you have any questions, please contact Emily Olinger at eolinger@advrights.org.
